World Teachers Day celebrates teachers and organisations all around the world that provide quality education to children and young people.

The theme of this year’s day is ‘recovery begins with teachers’.   World Teachers’ Day celebrates those teachers who have been directly or indirectly affected by a major crisis, from the earthquake in Haiti to the current economic crisis we are experiencing globally.  The day emphasises how the role of teachers and other education personnel is vital to social, economic and intellectual rebuilding.

If you dream of becoming a teaching assistant why not take a look at NCC Home Learning’s fantastic Teaching Assistant Diploma!

The Teaching Assistant Diploma will enable those working, or hoping to work, in the role of ‘teaching assistant’, to acquire and develop a level of understanding and skills that will help them to do this effectively.
