Course Description

The Medication and Domiciliary Care programme is divided into seven modules, each concentrating on an important aspect of medicine and domiciliary care.  This course is designed to be a flexible learning package, which you can work through at your own pace.

Each module asks you to complete a number of structured activities to ensure that you have absorbed the required underpinning knowledge and to provide evidence for core skills assessment.  The Activities Workbook that is included in your learning pack contains all of the activities required for revision to reinforce your learning.  All of these must be assessed by your Tutor.

Previous Knowledge

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about Medication and Domiciliary Care and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

Assessment

Completing a series of tutor marked assignments together with an end of course multi-choice questionnaire will lead you to the highly acclaimed ABC Certificate in Medication and Domiciliary Care.

Awarding Organisation

At the end of this course successful learners will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement by ABC Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the details all of the units you have completed as part of your course).
