If you haven't secured a placement that allows for mentor observations and witness testimonies, which are prerequisites for pursuing the HLTA Certificate qualification, you might want to explore the TQUK Level 4 Award for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - 610/2726/1. This Award is also a Level 4 RQF ofqual regulated qualification, but it is focused on knowledge rather than practical experience.

Alternatively, if you have a placement within a school you might want to also consider the TQUK Level 4 Diploma for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) - 610/2729/7.
