This course is part of a nested suite of qualifications that enable the learner to progress from this qualification and utilise the completed units towards the next progression: Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Certificate Level 3 or the Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3 Diploma RQF. Both of these courses require that the learner has a placement of at least 50 hours within a school setting working with pupils at Key Stage 1 or above.

This home learning course is the newly updated QLS Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate.

This QLS Level 3 Teaching Assistant Course is designed for students who are currently working with or want to work in an educational setting as a teaching assistant. It will equip you with a broad base of skills and knowledge, a perfect basis for progressing your career in the classroom.

This distance learning programme has been written for people who are involved in the care sector and is aimed to give all staff, supervisors and managers the essential knowledge needed to offer the very best professional approach to supporting activity provision in the care setting.

NCC, in partnership with TQUK, has developed the level 4 hlta course online, designed specifically for individuals who aspire to become Higher Level Teaching Assistants but currently lack a school placement to gather the required evidence for a Certificate or Diploma qualification.

This accredited Ofqual qualification using the RQF framework will serve as evidence that you possess the necessary knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the HLTA role within the classroom.

The TQUK Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant Award is regulated by Ofqual, providing employers with the assurance that you possess the essential knowledge necessary to excel as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

The TQUK HLTA Level 4 Diploma is a recognised Ofqual qualification utilising the RQF framework, and is exclusively available through NCC. Not only demonstrating to employers that you have the requisite skills to become a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), but in addition enables you to achieve a Level 5 unit to aid continued academic progression.

In collaboration with TQUK, NCC have taken the lead in creating this new HLTA Level 4 Diploma, which can be pursued as an independent course or obtained as a supplementary HLTA qualification upon successfully completing the HLTA Level 4 Award and/or the HLTA Level 4 Certificate.

If you haven't secured a placement that allows for mentor observations and witness testimonies, which are prerequisites for pursuing the Diploma qualification, you might want to explore the TQUK Level 4 Award for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - 610/2726/1. The Understanding Autism Level 2 Certificate RQF is an ideal course for those looking to gain a qualification in Autism for their career or to improve their overall understanding.
