The theme of this year’s awareness week carries on from 2011’s ‘Stand by me’ campaign which aims to tackle disability hate crime.

Learning Disability Week is a great opportunity to keep disability hate crime at the top of the police’s agenda and for people with a learning disability, their families and local campaigners to build stronger relationships with the police.

There will be lots of local events happening across the country during Learning Disability Week in 2012 to help with national campaigning and raising awareness.

In support of this important issue NCC Home Learning are currently developing a Learning Disability programme for home study which will be made available in the coming weeks so watch this space!

In the meantime we have a whole range of both Health Care and Teaching courses to keep you busy so why not see what NCC Home Learning has to offer!
