Course Description

Similar to our Human Biology course, this course aims to examine the human body and how it works, as well as review how it is interpreted across the world. By combining all of this information together, you will be able to use it to better take care of yourselves – and others - but more importantly ensure you benefit from lasting health and vitality.

Our course covers everything – skeletons, muscles, and the chemistry of life – giving you the freedom to combine your work with your studies, and develop at a pace that is right for you. There is no rush to complete this course, you will receive 12 months’ tutor support.

You will delve into the world of reproduction, respiration, digestion and the nervous system, and offer your employers the reassurance that you are more than equipped to care for their clients.

During this course you will be taught:

•    How external elements can affect the body - such as smoking, exercises, contraceptives etc.  - and how they can alter natural bodily functions
•    How each of our organs works and in turn how they interact with other parts of your body
•    How the formation of multiple organs to form systems can help your body to work more effectively

From examining the lymphatic system to exploring your heart and cardiovascular systems; in just 200 hours you can attain a level of knowledge and understanding that will make ALL the difference to your CV and job applications.

You’ll instantly be able to ‘standout’ from the competition, as the breadth and diversity of our Advanced Anatomy modules reveals everything you need to know about the human body.  And the best news of all? You need no prior knowledge or experience in this field to sign up.

Simply express an interest, and in no time at all, you can begin learning from the comfort of your own home.

However, if you’re looking for that added ‘edge’, studying our Level 2 Human Anatomy course first can instantly put you streets ahead of other applicants.

Course Structure

Our Advanced Anatomy course may be ‘paper only’; however from the very start you will be supported by a qualified tutor who will assess, feedback and mark your assignments, whilst remaining accessible throughout the duration of your home studies.

At a click of button, they can assist you with your self-assessment exercises and keep you on track to walking away with a Certificate of Achievement by ABC Awards.

So whether you’re looking to boost your CV and make your employment opportunities within the nursing and care sectors easier, or you simply have a passion for biology and the human body; register your interest today and at your own pace you can broaden your skills and knowledge set.
