Course Description
The people within an organisation are its key source of competitive advantage.
A simple and undeniably true statement, and yet today there are still organisations out there that fail to recognise the value of its people (its human resource), and have not yet grasped the important contribution that people make to business success.
The resource of people, when looked after and invested in, are the difference between organisations that are successful and those that are not. However, it is the way in which people are managed, in other words the specific techniques and approaches to people management and development that is fundamental to that success.
The aim of this learning course is to provide an overview of many of the key activities of HRM that are fundamental to the effective management and development of people at work:

Previous Knowledge Required
The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this Human Resource Management course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about Human Resources and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the Human Resource Management course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

Assessment

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Level 4 NCFE certificate of achievement. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to Level 4 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
