The Business Administration Diploma is a level 3 course. This requires you to obtain detailed knowledge, skills and understanding within a relevant field. It demonstrates team leading and specialist technical skills with competence in communication, problem solving and applied teamwork. Example job roles for this level include Personal Assistant, Secretary and Administration Clerk. It is effectively about communicating.

This Business Administration Diploma course will provide you with the knowledge required to be able to carry out an administration function effectively and efficiently.

It covers three areas, all central to the administrative role.

•    Organising skills
•    I.T. skills
•    People skills

The job of an administrator is to communicate, to receive process and transmit information from one department to another.

A successful business is one that effectively and efficiently manages its resources, to provide a service or product that exceeds the expectations of its customers.  Its resources are materials, equipment, facilities and human, and by far the most important of these are its human resources, or employees.

The Home Learning Customer Service Diploma programme has been developed to enable those working, or hoping to work, in a customer service role, in any type of organisation or context, to acquire and develop, a level of understanding and skills that will help them to service customer requirements in a professional, effective, and efficient manner.

It requires staff to be trained to understand the principles and practices involved and to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver it.

Delivering effective customer service is essential to the success of all organisations whether they be in the private, public or not for profit sectors. This programme has been designed to equip the learner with the knowledge, understanding and skills to deliver effective customer service irrespective of the type of organisation in which they are working or intend to work.

The programme consists of nine modules, each of which relate to a particular aspect of customer service.

Previous Knowledge Required

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about the study of Business Administration and Customer Service and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

Awarding Organisation

This course has been accredited under NCFE IIQ Licence by NCC Resources Limited which has been approved as an NCFE Investing in Quality (IIQ) centre to give formal recognition to courses. At the end of this course successful learners will be awarded a certificate of achievement by NCFE.
