This course is assessed using a series of written essay-style assignments. Each assignment is designed to test your comprehension of the course materials and must be sent to your personal tutor for marking. No exams are involved.

Upon completion of all coursework, you will then be able to book your 6 days of practical training, which can be undertaken at any of the following locations: Blackpool, Gateshead, Gloucester, Leyton, Peterborough, Plymouth, Salisbury, Sittingbourne and Wycombe. To book simply call us and we can arrange it for you. Some of these practical days require kits, which you will be supplied with – for free - once you have been booked on.

Each of these practical days will be assessed be an external assessor, and do not have to be taken consecutively, meaning you can spread them out to suit your existing work/social commitments.

Please note: you can book your practical training sessions after you have completed all your theory-based modules. The locations for these training sessions can often change, with new centres also being added.

Upon successful completion of this course learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement by ABC Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (This list includes all of the units you have completed throughout the duration of the course).
