This comprehensive Forensic Science training programme has been designed to to provide the required knowledge and accreditations to become a tutor within this subject area. 

The courses included in the training programme are as follows:

Forensic Science Diploma Level 3 (Level 3 NCFE Certificate)

This course, examines a wide range of issues, skills and important areas of practice within forensics. Over the course of 23 modules, you will study the pioneers of forensic science, through to assessing a crime scene, the evidence chain and ballistics. There is also a module that examines computer or cybercrime.

Forensic Science Diploma Level 4 (Level 4 NCFE Certificate)

Comprises of twenty individual modules, each looking at a different aspect of crime scene investigation. Areas covered include field forensics, explosive scene evidence and forensic pathology.

Forensic Ballistics Diploma Level 3 (Level 3 NCFE Certificate)

Covers the principles of forensic firearm knowledge and investigation. Each module will explore the individual topics in some detail followed by tutor assessed questions to show understanding of the subject.

No prior learning knowledge or experience is needed to enrol on this training programme.
The student will complete the programme by submitting a number of written assignments to be assessed by an expert tutor. There is no limit on the number of submissions per assignment and no end of course test or exam. The course is completed online via our LMS (Learner Management System).
These courses have been accredited under NCFE IIQ Licence by NCC Resources Limited which has been approved as an NCFE Investing in Quality (IIQ) centre. At the end of this course successful learners will be awarded a certificate of achievement by NCFE. The training courses have been designed specifically to meet the needs of learners who prefer to study from home. The course measurable learning outcomes have been benchmarked at Level 3 and 4 (using Ofqual's Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) level descriptors) to allow you to consider the depth of study, difficulty, and level of achievement involved.
