"I have very little time to study and read of late, so a distance learning course was ideal for me.  My first choice however would have been a course where face to face interaction was possible for various reasons.  This is why I chose this particular course because the content of the modules could counteract the lack of interaction.  With this in mind, I can honestly say that I am pleased with my choice as I have learnt more than I expected through being encouraged to do more research into different forms of mediation. 

I am no stranger to distance learning and I have never made much use of the allocated tutors.  Somehow I didn't stand still and realise the importance of a good tutor on a short distance course like this one.  Neither was I ready for the impact of my tutor's words of encouragement and confidence in me as a new mediator.  The feedback on assignments opened my eyes to my own capabilities in terms of being mature and ready enough for such a position.

My tutor's comments are an enormous boost to me. I am truly enjoying the course, but the positive feedback is putting the icing on the cake!
