Course Description

The Tendering for Contract Training package offers a comprehensive online programme that enables firms to tender for public and private sector contracts with confidence.

The philosophy and objectives of this training are based on supplying SME's needs with innovative training solutions that deliver benefits.

The programme is designed for supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility for a defined area of activity and is also beneficial for those who are interested in developing their employment prospects and careers.
 
The course covers topics such as preparing for and engaging with contract suppliers, implementing common processes and procedure strategies, streamlining internal operations to maximise the benefits and much more.
 
The training programme consist of (6) core modules, the material also includes various business support software tools and information that enables small firms to:

  • Implement Quality Management Systems
  • Manage Projects Effectively
  • Market Products & Services to Potential
    Contract Providers
SME's can learn how to make contact with potential contract providers, learn how to conduct tendering research documents, learn how to prepare and present completed tender documents and learn how to establish a partnership to compete more effectively.
 
The Course is accredited by the national awarding body ASET/EDI and is endorsed by the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative.

No previous knowledge is required to undertake this training programme.

Assessment

This online course has multiple choice questions throughout Module 6 - the self-assessment module has 60 multiple choice questions that cover the whole course.  In total there are approximately 100 Question's.  Learners are assessed as they work through the course.  The system accumulates all answers and provide a percentage pass / no pass count at the end.
