Course Description

Our fibreglass nails course provides all of the tools essential to learn how to apply beautiful fibreglass nails. Our nail and beauty courses could help you start your own business in nail technology.

This course will show you everything you need to know about fitting Fibreglass Nails. It will talk you through the nail industry and show you what tools and products you will require to fit fibreglass nails.

It will then teach you step by step how to fit a fibreglass nail first by extending the length of the natural nail with tips and blending them seamlessly into the natural nail, then by applying the layers of resin, laying in the fibre strips and adding more resin to make the fibre weave invisible.

Finally you will learn how to use the activator to set the resin and will see how to add further layers of resin to strengthen and enhance the nail’s shape. By the time you have buffed and polished, you will have produced fabulous looking nails!

Modules

Part 1: Foundation

Part 2: Essential Techniques

Part 3: Working the Whole Hand

Previous Knowledge

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about fibreglass nails and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course.

Assessment

You post your progress cards and question papers back to us. We look at each nail you've created, prepare a report for you on your work and issue a distinction, credit, pass or fail.

Awarding Organisation

You receive a handsome certificate and can obtain your liability insurance to start working on human hands immediately. Should you fail, we will annotate each problem and suggest ways you can improve. Resubmission of work for re-assessment is free, and most students who have failed the first time pass on the second attempt.

The certification is nationally recognised within the nail industry, accredited by Essential Nails. On completion of the courses and on passing, you would have qualified as a Nail Technician in the system that you have chosen. The certification gained will allow you to obtain your insurance and work on human hands whether you decide to work from home, be mobile or work in a salon.
