- Understand appropriate teaching and learning approaches for the context of flexible learning in your specialist area
- Demonstrate session planning skills

- Understand the use of different assessment methods and the need for record-keeping.

The qualification is an introductory, knowledge-based teaching qualification which can be undertaken by individuals who are not yet in a teaching role (pre-service), or are currently teaching (in-service).

Learners must achieve a minimum of 12 credits from three mandatory unit groups to be awarded the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF).

    Excellent

I decided to change careers from engineering to education and did the Level 3 Award in Education and Training in June through NCC.

The course material was logical and well presented and the tutor support and feedback excellent, I couldn't fault it.

Thanks NCC and especially to my tutor for her excellent guidance.
