Learners will be required to study nine modules, all of which will explore a different aspect of working in adult social care. The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care qualification. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about Adult Social Care and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start this course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

You will however be required to be working in a care environment in order to complete this course due to the nature of the assessment questions

Assessment

The learner will complete a portfolio of evidence by successfully completing all of the activities at the end of each unit. This portfolio is assessed by your tutor who will mark and sign off each completed unit of study.

Upon successful completion of the 20 credits, students will receive a certificate of achievement from the awarding organisation, CACHE.
