{"id":3904,"date":"2015-10-23T14:56:21","date_gmt":"2015-10-23T13:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ncchomelearning.co.uk\/blog\/?p=3904"},"modified":"2020-04-14T09:21:00","modified_gmt":"2020-04-14T08:21:00","slug":"wear-it-pink","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ncchomelearning.co.uk\/blog\/wear-it-pink\/","title":{"rendered":"Wear It Pink"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"striped\">\n<p><strong>Today, the staff at NCC are joining thousands of people across the country by wearing pink for Breast Cancer Awareness!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"striped\">\n<p><!--more Read more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Don&#8217;t our office staff look great wearing it pink?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today, the staff at NCC are joining thousands of people across the country by wearing pink for Breast Cancer Awareness!<\/p>\n<p>Wear It Pink is an annual day of awareness, where people in schools, colleges and places of work all endeavour to wear pink for the day, whilst raising money for the charity.<\/p>\n<p>The first Wear It Pink event was held in 2002, and since then over \u00a327 million has been raised to help in the fight against breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>The money raised funds research into finding the best possible means of tackling the disease, whether that be through prevention, detection or treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The event was launched by Breast Cancer Now, the largest breast cancer charity in the United Kingdom.
