Course Description

Passenger service agents provide assistance and related customer services at the ticket counter, gate and baggage areas, and concourse of the airline they serve. Duties include servicing customers by performing meet and greets, check-in, aircraft boarding and deplaning, ticketing, baggage service, making boarding, deplaning and public announcements, providing connecting flight information and direction assistance, and handling unruly, upset, or angry passengers.

This course is ideal for anyone considering, or currently employed in, a ground crew passenger service role in the air travel industry. The course enables students to develop the essential skills needed to carry out airline passenger service agent duties effectively. The course also promotes practical and relevant skills which will enhance employment opportunities within the industry.

Previous Knowledge Required

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about working as a passenger service agent and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

 

Support

You will be provided with comprehensive materials designed to provide you with everything required to complete your course of study. You will have your own dedicated tutor who will guide you through your course work and answer any questions you may have. Additionally our Help Desk will provide you with any practical advice by email or phone.

 

Assessment

The ASET certificate is gained by successfully completing a series of assignments together with an end of course questionnaire.
