Course Description

Supervising Food Safety Certificate


This Supervising Food Safety Level 3 qualification is suitable for all Supervisors, Line Managers, Potential Managers and Owners of small businesses who need an in-depth knowledge of food hygiene and safety, with options for Supervisors in Catering, Retail or Manufacturing settings.

This Level 3 Certificate follows the RSPH and CIEH syllabus, meets National Occupational Standards and includes Government guidelines for healthy eating.  It also meets UK/EU Legal requirements.

This Supervising Food Safety Certificate is certified to UK Level 3 Standards regulated by OCN.

The objectives of the course are to:

  • Enable candidates to play an active part in food safety management within the organisation
  • Ensure that candidates understand the importance of food safety management in the workplace
  • Ensure that candidates understand how to effectively supervise food safety management in the workplace.

The course is delivered online and learners are supplied with a unique username and password to access the course.

 

Previous Knowledge Required

You must have previously completed the Level 2 Award in Food Safety or have relevant experience.

 

Support

Full access to a tutor is available during the course should you require any assistance.

 

Assessment

Courses start at any time and you learn at your own pace by completing the modules and online activities and quizzes to test your knowledge.   Testing is continuous throughout the learning by self assessment and final online end of course multi choice test.
