Course Description
After completing your first or second nail extension course the Maintenance Course should be your next consideration. This course covers all the main nail systems and applications: Gels, Acrylics and Fibreglass. Even if you are a graduate in only a single system you may have to perform maintenance tasks on nails applied by other technicians. You never know who will walk into your salon! We will show you how to: rebalance nails, repair and prevent lifting, repair chipped and cracked nails and soak off old extensions.
Previous Knowledge Required
You don't need any previous experience to take this course however we recommend taking any of our Nail Technology courses first.

The Home Learn teaching DVDs have been produced with meticulous care and attention to detail, with close-up action and clear diagrams. Your teacher is nail champion and she guides you through the course which is split into three parts. One to one coaching over the phone or email is included to help you achieve you goals. *Please note: Exceptions in cancellation policy apply. Assessment
You post your progress cards and question papers back to us. We look at each nail you've created, prepare a report for you on your work and issue a distinction, credit, pass or fail.
Awarding Organisation
You receive a handsome certificate and can obtain your liability insurance and start work. Should you fail, we will annotate each problem and suggest a way you can improve. Resubmission of work for re-assessment is free, and most students who have failed the first time pass on the second attempt. Our certification is nationally recognised within the nail industry. On completion of the courses and on passing, you would have qualified as a Nail Technician in the system that you have chosen. The certification gained will allow you to obtain your insurance and work on human hands whether you decide to work from home, be mobile or work in a salon.
