Course Description
It will encourage learners to look at what they eat, when, how much and how often as well as being a useful reminder for those who think they already know all about calories and workouts.
The learning contains useful facts and figures which are presented in an easy to understand format, including:
- A formula for calculating the fat content of food
- Understanding food labelling
- Recommended calorific intake
- Different food groups.
This program is accessed online and takes between 4 and 6 hours to complete but if it is not completed in 'one sitting', it can be bookmarked and returned to at a later date.
Previous Knowledge Required
The good news is that no previous knowledge or experience is essential to study this programme.
Support
Tutor support is not included with this course.
Assessment
Tests are included to assess whether the candidate has understood the information provided.
Awarding Body
Accreditation for the training is provided by Walkgrove.
