Course Description

Health Care and Counselling Diploma Bundle


The Health Care Diploma has been designed to give an opportunity for those working in a Care environment to build on their skills to progress in Health and Social Care.

Working in the care sector, you have responsibilities to provide a service to your clients and to respond safely and effectively to their needs. The Counselling course is a practical and stimulating course, ideal for individuals with no prior counselling knowledge. This Counselling course will help you develop the skills you need in order to work on a one to one basis with people in need of help, guidance and support.

This Counselling course is highly rewarding, exciting and challenging and is the perfect home study course to provide an excellent foundation of information and deeper understanding of counselling, paving the way for further study and a future career within the varying fields. The Counselling course offers deep exploration and a step by step guide to work through the whole process of counselling from the initial meeting through to the end of the counselling relationship.

 

Previous Knowledge Required

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about Health Care and Counselling and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

Awarding Body

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Level 3 NCFE certificate of achievement.

That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to Level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Accreditation by NCFE is a guarantee of quality. 

It means that this learning programme has been scrutinised and approved by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals and is quality audited biannually by NCFE. NCFE is recognised as an awarding body by the qualification regulators ('regulators') for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
