Course Description

Are you ready to make the career change into interior design? How would it feel to be able to get up every morning and be excited about the project you are about to face – designing, sketching and planning interiors and seeing the changes unfold on a daily basis.

We have the information to be able to make that dream a reality and show you step by step how to master this fascinating subject. The home study ASET Level 4 Diploma in Interior Design covers all aspects of interior design, explaining how to design your own home and also how to establish your own business in order to earn a living from doing something that you love! Students will be shown how to organise a project, handle paperwork, find clients and also manage employees.

You will also learn how to advise on colour schemes, fabrics, fittings and furniture. You will receive a copy of ‘Visual Home’ with your course, which is an easy to use computer software programme that swiftly produces beautiful floor plans, removing any worry from having to draw your own designs.

The course pack will include a set of course modules, 16 interior design assignments, a binder/case to store all of your course information, a study guide and personal planner, self assessment exercises, the course text book, question and answer sheets, templates in case you find scale drawing difficult, you can use the templates that we supply with the course. There's a complete set of furniture for bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living room, plus planning grids. They let you produce professional drawings for your client - but without you having to do scale drawing, (this kit is unique), and we also provide 'How to Become a Home Stager' Guide - This new guide will provide you with information that can help you offer your own home staging service.

The course is designed for study by distance learning at work or at home in your own time and at your own pace.

 

Previous Knowledge Required

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about interior design and would like to take part in a highly fascinating home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace with unlimited support from your tutor.

You will receive the course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by mail and email. Our student support team are also available for any other queries that you may have whilst completing your course. The ASET Level 4 Diploma in interior Design provides all of the knowledge that you will need to become an Interior Designer, also showing you how to set up your own business and where to find your first clients!

 

Assessment

The ASET Level 4 Diploma in Interior Design is assessed by continuous written assignments that are submitted and marked by your tutor. Upon successful completion of these assignments you will be eligible for the Diploma in Interior Design. There is no final examination to complete.
