Course Description
Consider these facts from the Office for National Statistics:
* 306,200 weddings took place in the year 2003 in the UK alone * The average cost of a wedding in the UK is estimated at anything between £16,000 and £25,000!
And did you know that a wedding planner generally charges about 20% of the total wedding cost?!
This course will instruct you on the many aspects of Wedding Planning, such as organising a religious or civil ceremony, choosing the reception venue and co-ordinating a wedding abroad. You will also look at arranging the catering, decorations, music, entertainment and photographer and are even provided with the information on how to plan hen and stag parties!
You will learn how to set up and run your own Wedding Planning business. We'll teach you how to prepare for a meeting with your client, how to manage and set a budget, how to establish and market your business and most importantly - the financial side of being a wedding planner!
The course pack will include a set of course modules, 15 wedding planning assignments, a binder/case to store all of your course information, a study guide and personal planner, self assessment exercises, the course text book, question and answer sheets, copyright-free checklists, questionnaires, exercises, quizzes and action plans for you to use on your clients and also wedding planning software to use on your computer and you get a free event planner's manual, not obtainable elsewhere. This is a complete toolkit that includes everything that you need to get started as a wedding planner.
The course is designed for study by distance learning at work or at home in your own time and at your own pace.

Previous Knowledge Required
The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about wedding planning and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course.

Assessment
