Course Description

Conflict Resolution in the Workplace The programme will also provide common sense advice for anyone who may have concerns about their personal safety within a social environment. This Conflict Resolution in the Workplace programme aims to increase an individual’s ability to handle aggressive and challenging behaviour, thereby ensuring their personal safety, whilst carrying out their duties at work. This aim is further emphasised, by offering advice and an understanding in a range of practical safety issues that can be used to develop individual strategies to improve their personal safety in a variety if situations. By completing the Conflict Resolution in the Workplace programme, you will increase your knowledge and understanding of a range of personal safety issues and become aware of some of the practical and legal issues surrounding violence encountered in the workplace and how this can impact upon your personal safety. This course is about you, your needs may be different to those of others on the programme. The programme is divided into four modules, each concentrating on an important aspect of conflict resolution in the workplace.
