Upon completion of the Ascentis Level 3 Diploma in Counselling, you will also have the ability to join 'Counselling', a rapidly expanding professional membership organisation for counsellors and psychotherapists in the British Isles.
Counselling has almost 2,500 affiliated CCC Registered Counsellors. After obtaining your certificate you can register free at 'Counselling' and use the letters ‘CCC Reg’ after your name.

Previous Knowledge Required
You have the freedom to start the Diploma in Counselling course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months with full tutor support from initial registration. The guided learning hours (glh) for this course is 360 hours, but actual duration will depend on the amount of time you can personally commit to your studies.

You will receive full personal tutor support by mail and email. Our student support team are also available for any other queries that you may have whilst completing your counselling course. You can be assured that unlimited support is available for your home study course, so there is no need to struggle or feel isolated during your studies.
Assessment
The Ascentis Diploma in Counselling Level 3 course is assessed by completion of a series of tutor marked assignments. When your assignments have been successfully completed, you will be awarded with the highly acclaimed Diploma in Counselling Level 3 certificate.
