Care Planning is a way of agreeing, arranging and managing the services required to enable a person to live at home or to move into a residential or nursing home.
Whether you are an experienced health care worker or new to the industry caring for clients or patients in a work environment, we believe that this Care Planning and Documentation course will assist you with your personal development.
The aim of this programme is to promote nursing and care theory, with specific regard to care planning, and to assist with applying that theory in practice. These aims will facilitate the overall objective of bringing about improvements in the standard of care planning and documentation.

Previous Knowledge Required

This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about care planning and documentation and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration, with full tutor support.

Assessment
The NCFE certificate is gained by successfully completing a number of structured assessments and an end of course assignment of producing a Care Plan.

Awarding Body
At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Level 2 NCFE certificate of achievement. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to Level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Accreditation by NCFE is a guarantee of quality. It means that this learning programme has been scrutinised and approved by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals and is quality audited biannually by NCFE.
NCFE is recognised as an awarding body by the qualification regulators ('regulators') for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.
