Course Description

The material is supported by Health Departments nationwide and covers a wide variety of often overlapping functions, across a range of health care settings. The broad range of settings is recognised in the assessment strategy, which introduces the role of co-ordinating assessor and the possibility of a more extensive use of expert witness testimony.

This material is designed for a wide range of Support Services staff working in the Health Care sector, who wish to boost their training and skills development.

The material is available to all staff who work towards ensuring that patients and carers experience a quality service. This may include porters, housekeepers, cleaners, caterers, security, transportation and medical record workers.
