Course Description
This material is suitable for individuals with a basic knowledge of this area, who are interested in improving their understanding of nutrition and healthy eating. Individuals will gain a greater perspective of healthy eating and the role of food in maintaining health, increased confidence in planning and achieving a healthy diet and an understanding of how an individual’s dietary requirements change throughout their life.
In addition to this, you will also gain a greater awareness of the dietary requirements of particular individuals, as well as an understanding of food labelling and the ability to use information from food labels.
