Course Description
The core objective is that individuals will display an appropriate level of skill-ability and an acquired knowledge and understanding of the relevant techniques, materials, tools and equipment used that will enable them to carry out these activities. Individuals should be able to solve related problems, correct any faults within the limits of their authority and ensure their work output meets the required specification standard. The learning material is designed for learners requiring the necessary skills and knowledge to demonstrate their ability in safe working practices, both statutory and organisational, which are required within a manufacturing environment. The end result is a qualification that enhances the learner's skills, in both team working and operational goals, to the benefit of the organisation.
