Acrylic Sculpted Nails Course

Our acrylic and sculpted nails course provides all of the tools essential to learn how to apply beautiful acrylic nails. Our nail and beauty courses could help you start your own business in nail technology.

After learning the basics about the nail industry, your tools and products, we show you how to fit a nail form on the front of the finger and how to shape an exquisite free edge on the form to extend the natural nail. You'll then learn how to build the nail back towards the cuticle, sculpting the pink Acrylic with your brush to form a perfect, natural looking curved nail. Next you'll learn how to sculpt using two Acrylics - pink and white. You'll sculpt the two colours together to produce a stunning French manicure look; pink over the nail body and a dazzling white free edge with sharp smile line.

Previous Knowledge Required

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about acrylic sculpted nails and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course.

Support

The Home Learn teaching DVDs have been produced with meticulous care and attention to detail, with close-up action and clear diagrams. Your teacher is a nail champion and she guides you through the course step by step, which is split into three parts. One to one coaching over the phone or email is included to help you achieve your goals. *Please note: Exceptions in cancellation policy apply. Assessment

You post your progress cards and question papers back to us. We look at each nail you've created, prepare a report for you on your work and issue a distinction, credit, pass or fail. Should you fail, we will annotate each problem and suggest a way you can improve. Resubmission of work for re-assessment is free and most students who have failed the first time pass on the second attempt. When the course is passed, you receive a handsome certificate and can obtain your liability insurance and start work immediately.

Awarding Organisation

Our certification is nationally recognised within the nail industry. On completion of the courses and on passing, you would have qualified as a Nail Technician in the system that you have chosen. The certification gained will allow you to obtain your insurance and work on human hands whether you decide to work from home, be mobile or work in a salon.
