Course Description
This course is ideal if you are a new or existing accounts user who wants to get started and know the core functionality of Sage 50 Accounts from the comfort of your own home. It’s also ideal for people who want to gain an official Sage Certificate of competence allowing you to put Sage on your CV.
A suite of 4 easy-to-use workbooks designed to help you learn how to set up and use all the fundamental features of your Sage 50 software. Each book contains practical exercises to increase your knowledge of and confidence in the accounting procedures within Sage 50 Accounts. These period end routines are not tasks you will necessarily carry out every day, however they do form an integral part of your accounting software and you will need to learn about them in order to become a competent user of Sage 50 Accounts.
The Sage 50 Accounts Self Study Course Stage 2 comes complete with a 180 day demonstration CD which is used in conjunction with the workbooks to produce exercises which assist with your learning. Screen shots show exactly what will appear on your own computer screen as you work through the tasks. Practical exercises help you get to grips with each function before trying it out on real data. Easy to understand and use, and written by the experts, these home study workbooks take you through the product in a logical step-by-step way. Each workbook takes you through key processes and contains practical tasks to use the software with confidence. Using the 180 day version of the software along with easy to use workbooks and data this self study course will give you an understanding of the core principles of Sage 50 Accounts from effective credit control, month end procedures, reporting, VAT returns and Year End and management information. Throughout the course you can check your understanding with “test your knowledge sessions”.
On completion of this course you are entitled to take Sage 50 Accounts Certification Level 2 and become Sage qualified.

Previous Knowledge Required

Assessment
Once you have completed your Sage Self Study Course, you have the ability, included in this course to obtain official Sage Certification. To gain this officially recognised certification, you are required to sit online exams which are activated using a unique serial number included in your pack. You will then be sent instructions and a user guide to your certification exams.
