Course Description
Whether you are studying this course for your own pleasure or you wish to build a career in Coaching, this Life Coaching Diploma will provide you with all the necessary skills to change lives. It is very easy for people to get caught up in their lives without really living it, letting wonderful opportunities and exciting experiences pass them by. This course will show you how to make anything possible. So often we think that interesting, and happy lives are for others. The great news is that we can all have the life we dream of!
This course will show you, step by step, how to coach yourself and others. It will teach you how to love yourself, respect others, and explore every opportunity so that your life can become enriched and rewarding. You will also learn how to let go of negative beliefs or experiences that may have been holding you back.
We all use our body to convey to others what we really mean and this course will teach you how to read body language and use your own to your advantage. Communication is the key to all relationships and your knowledge will help you develop each and every relationship, from the postman, your partner, your future clients, etc.
As well as learning all the skills of Coaching you will look at some actual coaching cases so that you understand the Coaching process and how cases develop. Finally, you will see how to set up your own practice so that you can use your new found skills to help others change their lives forever!

Support
You will be provided with comprehensive materials designed to provide you with everything required to complete your course of study. You will have your own dedicated tutor who will guide you through your course work and answer any questions you may have. Additionally our Help Desk will provide you with any practical advice by email or phone. Full tutor support is provided for a period of 12 months and included in the cost of the programme.
Assessment
When you have completed the programme, your tutor needs to verify that you have worked through all parts of the Workbook and completed all of the Activities and Exercises successfully. The completion certificate at the end of the workbook must also be signed and dated by your tutor.
Upon verification of the activities, exercises and assignments, a nationally recognised certificate will be awarded by Ascentis as confirmation that your written work has met all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the programme.

Ascentis is a Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) approved national awarding body that designs user-friendly qualifications and supports these with the highest possible standard of customer service. Ascentis is therefore able to offer a comprehensive ladder of opportunities to centres and their learners, starting at Pre-Entry programmes and progressing to QAA-recognised Access to HE qualifications or professional Further Education Teaching Certificates.
