Course Description
This bundle programme of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and Responding to Substance Misuse is designed to introduce the student to a variety of areas related to the use and misuse of a wide range of drugs, including both legal and illegal substances. It helps to develop increased understanding of these issues and the possible responses, interventions and the lasting effects.
The programme aims to provide a nationally accredited certificated programme in a wide range of substance misuse issues and the variety of responses and interventions available, provide a flexible learning opportunity that is accessible to a wide range of learners, provide the student with knowledge and understanding that can be used by those who either personally, voluntary or professionally have a special interest in both subjects of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and Responding to Substance Misuse.
Our bundle offer of both the Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders course and the Responding to Substance Misuse course will provide an all-round knowledge of these subjects that complement each other very well.
Previous Knowledge Required
The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about substance misuse and foetal alcohol spectrum disorders and for those who would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

Assessment
Completing a series of activity and self-assessment questions together with a multiple-choice questionnaire will lead you to the highly acclaimed Ascentis Level 3 Certificate in Responding to Substance Misuse and the Level 3 Certificate in Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (please note this section of the course does not have an end test).
