Course Description
This course can be studied without any prior knowledge or can be studied as a follow-up programme from our original level 3 Criminology course.
In this course we will examine the topic of the history of crime and punishment. We will briefly examine different theories of offending before examining the psychology of violent crime in some detail. The examination of the psychology of violent crime provides a useful introduction to forensic psychology and offender profiling.

"I am really enjoying this course as it has always been a subject of interest to me. The essays really get down to the nitty gritty. You do need to extra research which I have found amazing as when I start reading into an area I can't seem to stop!!"
