Course Description
This distance learning programme has been devised in order to promote awareness of infection and contamination issues. With the very real concerns associated with dangers such as MRSA, this is an invaluable grounding in the general safeguards that can be employed to reduce the risks imposed by infection. This material has been developed to further educate care workers with fundamental hygiene principles, and is approved and endorsed by the Infection Control Nurses Association (ICNA). Learners will benefit from studying key units, including personal health, hygiene procedures and the decontamination of healthcare equipment.
